It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jack Benson of Swifton, Arkansas, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Claud Benson and Dollie Benson (Watson); his wife Alma Jean Benson; and his siblings, Andrew Benson, Arwanda Hill and Lorene McGee.
He is survived by: his former spouse Miss Alma Jean Kinder; his daughters, Shawnda Nunn (Rick) of Paragould and Tronda Watkins (Kent) of Jonesboro; his sisters, Aretta Goodman of Batesville, Janet Hill (Nick) of Dallas and Judy Page (Robert) of Auvergne; his grandchildren, Jaclyn Reider (Mark) of Bella Vista, Lindsay Davidson of Jonesboro, Andy Watkins (Skyler) of Jonesboro, Blake Nunn (Shayna) of Paragould, Meghan McCord (Eric) of Paragould, Amber Nunn of Paragould and Bradlee Nunn (Mikyla) of Jonesboro; and his sister-in-law Linda Kinder of Swifton. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and a lifetime of friends.
