He was predeceased by: his parents, Virgil Hayes of Washington and Lettie Edna Hayes (Hays); and his siblings, Doyle Wayne "Sam" Hayes, Mildred Geneva Whitley and Joyce Mae Dunn.
He is survived by: his sister Loyce Fowler (John) of Jonesboro.
