Gary Owens Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 13, 2024, at the age of 75, Gary Owens of Swifton, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Gary shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Gary farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvin Homer and Frances Ellen Owens (Dukes); and his siblings, Dale Owens, Donald Owens and Evelyn Sade.
He is survived by: his wife Suzanne Owens (Reed); his sister Linda Templeton (Larry) of Swifton; and his brother-in-law Jerry Reed (Evaughn) of Newport.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Swifton Baptist Church (204 North Ashley, Swifton, AR 72471). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Swifton Cemetery Fund, 317 Main Street, Swifton, AR 72471, or the Swifton Veteran's Memorial Fund by making a donation at Merchants & Planters Bank, Swifton Branch, or sending a check to Swifton Veteran's Memorial, c/o Pamela Worthington, P.O.
