She was predeceased by: her husband Dale Nicholson; and her siblings, Larry Counts, Jimmy Counts and Mickey Alberson. She is survived by: her children, Erik Nicholson, Stephanie Taylor (Shane) and Lisa Richardson (Brian).

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
