She was predeceased by: her parents, J. F. Meritt and Millie Meritt; and her husband Fred Gibson. She is survived by: her brother Joe (Peggy) of Rancho Mirage, CA.; and her nieces and nephews, Wanda Bishop, Rosemary Meritt, Vickie Garlington, Jeannie Bynum, Jim Meritt and Alan Meritt.
