With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Johnny Gatewood of Summers, Arkansas, born in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, who passed away on August 9, 2021 at the age of 62. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Nelson Gatewood and Francis Juanita Barnes Gatewood; and his sister Linda Gatewood. He is survived by: his wife Glenda Cheryl Ann Counts; his children, Eric Counts (Christine) of Watts, Oklahoma, Nerissa Johnson (Nathan) of Watts and Krystal Perez (Jose) of Cane Hill, Arkansas; and his siblings, Norman Gatewood of Colcord, Oklahoma, Alice Farmer (Darrell) of Summers and Opal Payne of Colcord, Oklahoma. He is also survived by six grandchildren and four great grandchildren, along with many other family members and friends.
