Virginia Hood Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Hood of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas, who passed away on September 6, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Virginia had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Virginia may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Havens and Virginia Havens (Sparks); her son David Hood; her brother Howard Havens; her grandsons, Marc Sanders and William Hood; and her son-in-law Jim Sanders.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cindy Bass (Charlie) of Batesville, Deborah Sanders of Batesville and Annetta Hood (Steve) of Kansas City, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Sue Hood. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; thirty great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
