We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 76, Ruth Ann Tubbs Irwin of Sulphur Rock, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie C. Tubbs and E. Raye Tubbs (Chatman); her daughter Joanna Ruth Norris; her husband James; her brother Tommy Tubbs; and her pets, Skye, Sassy and Sophie.
She is survived by: her daughter Eva Henriksen (Jamie) of Sulphur Rock; her sister Mendy Dinsmore (Jeff Sutton) of Batesville; her sister-in-law Lisa Tubbs; her grandchildren, Kelby Mathews (James) of Campbell Station, Luke Henriksen of Mountain View and Carrie Wilson (Tyler) of Rogers; her great grandchildren, Nolan, Savannah, Rhys Wilson and Bentley Mathews; and her pet Rocky. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews; her dear, special friends for many years.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Jackson's Newport Funeral Home (1900 Malcolm Ave, Newport, AR 72112). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
