He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Francis Hughes and Ethel Hughes (Young); and his siblings, Harold Hughes, Della Mae Hughes, Ruth Ann Hughes and Linda Kay Bufford.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth "Kenny" Jr. of Cave City and April of Cave City; his brother Donald Hughes, Sr. (Freda) of Sulphur Rock; his nieces, Tonya Rhoades (Billy), Sharon Pillow, Kim Bufford Stillings and Sherry Norton; his nephew Donald Hughes, Jr.; and his pet Jack. He is also survived by two grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
