She was predeceased by: her husband Fred McClain; her parents, Clifton McCollum and Marie McCollum; her son Joe McClain; her granddaughter Heather Hughes; and her siblings, James McCollum, Howard McCollum, Tom McCollum and Martha Krisell.
She is survived by: her daughter Karen Hughes (John Kale) of Huntsville, Ala.; her granddaughter Summer McClain of Conway; and her daughter-in-law Johnna McClain of Hazen. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Her family requests memorials be made to the Children's Wing at Stuttgart Public Library.
