She was predeceased by: her father Johnny B. Redditt Shelton; her son Christopher Bailey; her parent E. V. "Punk" Shelton; and her brothers, Harry (Bettie) and Billy Shelton.
She is survived by: her husband Lawerence "Pete" Bailey; her children, Tim (Lori) of Crocketts Bluff, Teresa Anderson (Wayne) of Casscoe and Rhonda Bailey (Mick Johnson) of Casscoe; her brother James "Bubby" Shelton (Teresa) of Casscoe; and her sisters-in-law, Cindy Shelton of Casscoe and Barbara Smith of Clarendon. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
