He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion "Mack" McCollum and Ruth Cannon McCollum. He is survived by: his wife JoAnn; his children, Dodd McCollum (Tammy) of Little Rock, Arkansas, Jill Flaxman (Jon) of Little Rock, Ginger Holladay (Phillip) of Stuttgart and Sarah Berg (Justin) of Stuttgart, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Daniel Holladay, Alex Flaxman, Sophie Holladay, Ava Kate McCollum, Ben Flaxman, Tyler Berg, Jack Holladay, Anna Grace Berg and Aubree Berg; his sister K. Dean Walker of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and his close friend Chuck Lock. He is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, employees and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a gift payable to the Arkansas Game and Fish Foundation, 2 Natural Resources Drive, Little Rock, AR 72205. The Marion McCollum Endowment Fund has been established at the Foundation to support Arkansas Youth Shooting Sports - a program Marion was extremely passionate about.
