He was predeceased by: his parents, John Scherm Sr. and Margaret Huff Scherm; and his wife Betsy Scherm. He is survived by: his daughter Jessica Scherm; his grandsons, Daniel Scherm, Brayden Elliott and Trey Elliott; and his siblings, Kathy Pool (Danny), Pam Bevell (Eddie), Rod Scherm (Jody), Monica Shannahan (Albert) and Kenny Scherm (Cindy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
