She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Rich and Jess Jane Bullock Rich; her husband Chester Lee Tipton; and her sisters, Mary Weathington, Adell Hudson and Joyce Burlison.
She is survived by: her children, Larry Tipton of Leesburg, Fla., Dianne Bevell (Herbert) and Trudy Howard of Stuttgart; and her grandchildren, Derrick Tipton of Greenbriar, Kimberly Hicks (Terry) of Beech Grove, Tonya Sanders (Earl) of Stuttgart, Amy Whitney (Jason) of Cabot, Debra Cook (Byron) of Stuttgart and Chasity Bussard (Brad) of Amanda, Ohio. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Corinth Missionary Baptist Church.
