He was predeceased by: his parents, James Willard and Mary Josephene Green; and his wife Glindal Sue Green (Benson). He is survived by: his sons, J. Bradley Green and Jeffery Garriott Green; his daughter-in-law Lisa Gayle Green; his sister Betsy Jane Gore; and his grandchildren, Sara Christine Green, Jacob Quenton Green, Jeffery Garrett Green Jr., Mary Grayson Green and William Payton Green. He is also survived by several cousins and nieces.
