She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Geans (Ronnie "Red" Smith, Sr.), Patrick "Bugga" Geans-Ali (Anita), Kirk Geans (Tina) and Reggie Geans (Ulexso); her siblings, Kelly Bernard Sims, Larry Sims, Raymond Sims (Kathy), David Harold Sims (Tawanna), Cedric Sims, Willis Chambers (Shantail), Helen "Rose" Robinson (Andrew), Wanda Kaye Sims, Janice Wood (Kevin), Vickie Sims, Angela Garlington (Albert), Darlyn Chambers and Leatha Mae Sims; her aunt Erma Johnson Pendleton; and her grandson Kirk Otis. She is also survived by seventeen grandchildren; twenty-four great-grandchildren.
