It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Gene Davenport of Stuttgart, Arkansas, who passed away on December 4, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Davenport and Alice Hill Davenport; and his siblings, Glenn Davenport, Mary Ann Davenport and Patsy Cooper.
He is survived by: his wife Betty; his son Gregory Davenport (Brenda) of Cabot; his stepson Porter Cummings of Stuttgart; his daughter Michelle Davenport of Beebe; the mother of his children Mary Lois Davenport of Beebe; his brothers, John Ed Davenport of DeWitt, Frank Davenport of Oklahoma and Danny Davenport of Little Rock; his grandchildren, Laiken Kizzire, River Kizzire and Forrest Kizzire; and also, Kathy, Richard and Judy Kizzire.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Turpin Funeral Home (1107 W 22nd St, Stuttgart, AR 72160). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at the Lone Tree Cemetery.
