With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sammy Jeans Jr. of Strong, Arkansas, born in Texarkana, Texas, who passed away on September 2, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Sammy Jeans and Frances Harless Jeans; his daughter Tracie Ward; and his sisters, Sonja White and Kathryn Schoen.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Jerry Jeans; his sons, Jeffery Lee Jeans of Bismarck, AR and Jeffrey Jerry of Redfield, AR; his brother Gary W. Jeans Sr. (Tara) of Texarkana, AR; and his grandchildren, Sammy Dosch, Dana Dosch, Christian Ward, Jon Michael Ward, Colton Jeans, Rachel Jeans, Ashton Molsbee, Chloe Morris and Abigail Jerry. He is also survived by six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
