He is survived by: his wife Tip Sorrells Vestal; his children, Susie Hicks (Charlie) and Johnny Vestal; his grandchildren, Melissa Boykin (Shaye) and John Mark Vestal; his great grandchild Gray Boykin; his nephew Randy Eakin; and his niece LeaAnn Mathews (Gary).
