It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Hargett Norris of Strong, Arkansas, who passed away on November 25, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Albert Chatham Hargett and Ellen LaNora Garner; her husband William Moraell "Joe" Norris; her brother Robert Wilson Hargett; her children, Donovan Norris (Starlette) of Greenville, SC, Lucretia Norris Coulter (Ed) of Mountain Home, AR, Ava Norris Jones (Scott) of Marion, LA and Teresa Norris Evans (Mark) of The Woodlands, TX; her half-siblings, Linda Hargett Mitchell and Stanley Albert Hargett of Calhoun; and her grandchildren, Jason Norsworthy, David Norsworthy, Jessica Norris Fincher, Daniel Norsworthy, Kasey Jones Price, Morgan Norris Kelly, Ben Jones, Joseph Norsworthy, Anne Marie Evans Powers and Catherine Evans Bussey. She was also cherished by 21 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Norris Cemetery Fund or Union Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.
