We are sad to announce that on May 24, 2021, at the age of 84, Bobbie Jean Norris (Strong, Arkansas), born in Farmerville, Louisiana passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Ramsey and Ola V Williamson Ramsey; her brother Royce Dean (Preacher); her stepson Travis Norris, Jr.; her grandson Jesse Maroney; and her brother-in-law Billy Payne.
She is survived by: her husband James Garvis Taylor; her children, Suzette (Johnny Rowell) of Ruston, Louisiana, Willis (Betty Taylor) of Farmerville, Louisiana, Mark (Trish Taylor) of Ruston, Louisiana, Teresa (Scott Cone) of Mt. Dora, Florida and Jamie Taylor of Farmerville, Louisiana; her stepchildren, Tommy (Shari Norris), Heather (Josh Allen) and Karen (Gene Kingrey); her grandchildren, Crystal (Matt Koop), Melissa (Mike Richardson), Jared Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Sarah Taylor, Jason (Jennifer Powell), Dustin (Rachel Powell), Josh Norris, Jordan Norris, McKenzie Norris, Tate Allen, Nathan Kingrey and Patrick Maroney; her siblings, Harvey (Judy Ramsey) of Farmerville, Louisiana and Maxine Payne (Max) of Chapin; and her sisters-in-law, JoAnn Ramsey of Marion, Jean Smith and Sue Istre of West Monroe. She is also survived by grandkids, great grand kids, and eventually great-great grand kids.
