With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Verlon David Holt of Strawberry, Arkansas, born in Cherry Valley, Arkansas, who passed away on May 2, 2021 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie Layton and Sellia Jane Holt (Williams); and his siblings, Vernest Holt, Joy Fay DuBois, LonEll Holt and Artivee Holt.
He is survived by: his wife Clara Smith Holt; his children, Gary Holt (Janet) of Lakewood Ranch, Jeff Holt (Kisty) of Strawberry and Donna Holt of Jonesboro; his sister Lois Garner of Hardy; and his grandchildren, Daniel Johnson, Ashley Pretty and Amber Hobbs. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
