He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Wesley and Pynie Malone Butler; his wife Jewel Ann Butler; his siblings, C. W. Butler, Billie June Jones and Neva Jo Sherrod; his grandson Michael Moore; and his great grandchild Nathyn Moore.
He is survived by: his children, Steven Butler, Susan Wentworth of Larwill, Sharon Jacobs (Mark) of Three Rivers and Patty Price (Donald) of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas; his brother James Butler (Estelle); and his sister-in-law Virginia Meabon (Loren). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and countless friends.
