We are sad to announce that on December 5, 2023, at the age of 81, Alfred L. Polston of Strawberry, Arkansas, born in Saffell, Arkansas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thurman Polston and Retha Jarrett; his siblings, Jack Adams, Cledis Polston, Jerrell Polston, Jerry Polston, Dwight Polston, Curtis Polston, Glenda Mae Polston and Linda Randolph; and his grandchildren, Chris Polston and Veronica Woodruff.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Whitmire Polston; his children, Kenneth Dewight Polston of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Vanita Joyce Woodruff of Jonesboro, Tamatha Welcher (Alan) of Arkadelphia and Jamie Penn (Randy) of Smithville, Arkansas; his sister Brenda Wright of Strawberry, Arkansas; and his grandchildren, Kaylan Watson, Conner Welcher, Allison Blevins, Brooklyn Penn, Casey Woodruff, Stephanie Willard, Alan Polston and Timothy Polston. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren; seven great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
