He was predeceased by: his parents, Judy Laverne Thorp Smith and Orrell "Red" Smith. He is survived by: his wife Deborah Schnaper-Smith; his children, Jonathan Schnaper Smith, Jamie Smith, Mark Smith (Larissa), Samantha Dennis and Savannah Smith; and his grandchildren, Jade, Julius, Markis, Brealynn, Cayson, McKenna, Harmonie, Rylan, Camden and Weston.
