He was predeceased by: his parents, Clair Wilson and Rachael Wilson (Knight); his wife Lurene Wilson (Crandall); his daughter LaJuan House; and his siblings, Marlene Wilson, Aubrey Wilson, Norma Dell Reynolds (Wilson) and Catherine Houser (Wilson).

He is survived by: his children, Peggy Louks (Wilson) and William Wilson (Rhonda); his son-in-law Jerry Michael House; his grandchildren, Andrew House, Cody Louks (Tina), Will Wilson, Alison Davis (Louks) and Ashley Wilson; and his great grandchildren, Dalton, Drew House, Slayton, Ryder, Zayne Davis, Alexia, Khalan, Falyn Louks, Olivvia and Chloe Wilson.
