He was predeceased by: his parents, Billy Adams and Rosie House Adams; his siblings, Joel Morris Adams, Jerry Wayne Adams, Travis Lee Adams, Betty Jo Tune and Barbara Ann Nesby; and his brother-in-law Lewis Nugent.
He is survived by: his daughter Michelle Holbrook; his siblings, Jim Billy Adams Jr. (Jean), Virgina Faye Nugent, James Levi Adams (Janet), Charles Edward Adams (Elizabeth Ann) and Rose Marie Nugent (Kenneth); and his grandchildren, Aaron Holbrook, Kara Holbrook and Elise Holbrook. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
