With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Willis Edward Via (Star City, Arkansas), born in Cleveland, Arkansas, who passed away on October 31, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Osco Via and Rhea Glascock Via; his significant other Juanita Lowery Via; his siblings, Betty Sowrheaver (BF), Harold, Charles (Wyma), JD "Poochie" and Jimmy Via (Francis); and his brother-in-law Bill Landys.
He is survived by: his daughters, Debbie Watson of Star City and Sandy Via of Star City; his granddaughters, April Miley (Collin) of Henderson, TX and Ashley Via of Star City; his brother Jerry Via (Gladys) of Pine Bluff; and his sister-in-law Ann Landys of Granite City, IL. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and great friends.
