It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Elmore Abbott of Star City, Arkansas, born in Lonoke, Arkansas, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Elmore and Hettie Elmore; her husband Floyd Abbott; and her brother Charles Elmore. She is survived by: her children, John Abbott (Marsha) of McGehee and Melissa Abbott Keahey (Wayne) of Star City; her grandchildren, Jesse Abbott (Heather), Carmen Abbott, Jared Keahey (Hilary), Anna Bitely (Colton) and Aaron Keahey (Jenna); and her great grandchildren, Avery, Sophie, Annabelle, Adler Abbott, Floyd, Audie, Lilian and Mattie Grace Keahey.
