He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Ray and Henrietta Gay Rich; and his brother Jesse Ray Rich. He is survived by: his wife Willene Frances Scott Rich of Star City; his son David Rich (Vanesa) of Star City; his grandchildren, TJ Magness (Brittany) and Morgan Smith (JT); and his great grandchildren, Trent Magness, Jaci Magness, Tristan Smith, Levi Smith and Hayden Smith.
