He is survived by: his wife Sandra Gibson Cherry of Star City; his sons, Alan Cherry (Melissa) of Grady and David Cherry of Star City; his grandchildren, Garrett Cherry, Caden Cherry, Brennan Cherry and Dresden Cherry; his aunt Gay Cole of Monticello; and his uncle Horace Cherry of Monticello.
