With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Kathryn DeWitt of Star City, Arkansas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 26, 2025 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Kathryn DeWitt to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Don Charles and Ruth Maddox Finnugan; and her brother Don Finnugan. She is survived by: her husband Kenneth DeWitt of Star City; her children, Tim DeWitt (Kim) of Sherman, TX, Kristin Carrington (Billy) of Star City, Rebekah DeWitt-Wallis (Kenneth) of Star City and Deborah Kiefhaber of Star City; and her sisters, Patricia Taylor (F. J.) of Rolla, MO, Betty Stevens of Elkin, N. C., Karen Cochrane of Star City and Darla Hildebrand of Star City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Center Missionary Baptist Church (60 Cole Rd, Rison, AR 71665). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Throughout her life, she looked unto the Lord and was uncomplaining throughout her years of suffering with Parkinson's disease.
