She was predeceased by: her parents, Euel F. McGriff and Retha Hamilton McGriff; her husband Jerry "Smiley" Clayton Sanders, Sr.; her son Randy Ashmore; her daughter-in-law Brenda Ashmore; her grandson Garrett Sanders; and her brother Franklin "Sonny" Lavon McGriff.
She is survived by: her sons, Jerry Sanders, Jr. (Rozanna) of El Cajon, CA and Tracy Sanders (Jessica) of Star City; her grandchildren, Corey Ashmore, George Sanders, Jerry Sanders, III, Ernie Sanders, Riley Sanders, Myra Sanders and Gage Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Shawn Ashmore and Blaine Newman.
