She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva McKeown Calhoun and Travis Calhoun; and her son Steven Francis Carter (Sheila) of Star City, AR. She is survived by: her spouse Francis Marion Carter; her daughters, Patricia Anne Carter Dabbs (Phillip) of St. Charles, MO and Virginia S. Carter Nunn (Clay) of Blanco, TX.; and her grandchildren, Erik Dabbs, Stephen Dabbs, Shaun Carter, Kimberly Roig, Dana Nunn-Schmidt and Erin Ellquist.
A long-time member of First Baptist Church of Star City, AR, the family requests that memorials be made to the church at PO Box 368, Star City, AR 71667.
