She was predeceased by: her parents, Lester Thompson and Gladys Morgan Thompson; her daughters, Vicky Lynn Irons and Judy Dyer; and her siblings, Cecil Thompson, Calvin Thompson, Mac Thompson, Hershel Thompson, Jimmy Thompson and Shirley Bearden.
She is survived by: her children, Glenn Dyer (Rebecca) of Pine Bluff, Paula Weast (Mike) of Star City and Stacy Bates (Ronnie) of Star City; her siblings, Gene Thompson (Patsy), Larry Thompson (Reina), Samuel Briant of Herbine and JoAnn Cosper of White Hall; and her grandchildren, Shannon Reeves, Matthew Irons, Stephanie McBurnett, Jonathan Weast, Danielle Robertson, Morgan Bates, Kendal Dyer and Caleb Dyer. She is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Sunday, March 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Griffin Funeral Service Chapel (811 N Lincoln Ave, Star City, AR 71667). A graveside service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Reaves Cemetery Reeves Cemetery (13260 Reaves Cemetery Rd, New Edinburg, AR 71660).
