She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Hardin and Mary Jane Hardin; her husband Robert Goins Jr.; her daughter Syntyhia Hegwood; and her siblings, Zenora Massie (Lanell), Elnora Thompson (Clarence) and Corenthia Hardin (Fannie).

She is survived by: her brother Elijah Hardin Jr. of Oakland, California; her grandchildren, LeShayna Darrough, Kenyar Hughes, Martesa Hegwood and Jevonte Hegwood; and her brother-in-law Veo Goins. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
