He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Lee and Minnie Isabella Carrington Carr; and his siblings, Oliver Carr, Havis Carr, Ben Carr, Walter Carr, Jr., Huzell Tew, Molly Carr, Nettie DeWeese, Myrtle Bragdon, Marie Byerly, Betty Socia and Martha Robinson.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Billie Carr Carter of Star City and Elmer Byerly of Star City; and his nieces and nephews, Donald Carr (Beverly) of Star City, Larry DeWeese (Vicky) of White Hall, Dicky Lowry (Vicki) of Jacksonville, Jeff Byerly of Star City, Rickey Carr of West Monroe, LA, David Byerly (Sandra) of Baytown, TX, Doug Socia (Sarah) of Coos Bay, OR, Mark Socia (Liz) of Coos Bay, OR, Terry Robinson (Gay), Shelby Edington (Max) of Star City, Vada Fowler (Marshall) of Mt. Pine, Bennie Rice (Eugene) of Star City, Betty James of Houston, TX, Carol Langley of Pine Bluff, Patti Yates (Michael) of White Hall, Brenda Pittman of Star City, Nancy O'Neill (Eddie) of Star City, Cathy Hendricks (John) of Redfield and Suzie Rodgers of Redfield.
