He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harold and Georgia Barton Newton; his siblings, Earl Newton and Marjana Beavert; and his granddaughter Amanda Newton.
He is survived by: his children, Greg Newton (Donna) of Pine Bluff, Harold Newton (Shannon) of Star City, Georgia Lawson (Gary) of White Hall and Becky Newton of Heber Springs; and his grandchildren, Greg Newton, Jr., Jacob Newton, Lana Belvedresi, Kelby Bailey, Kristopher Taylor, Carson Cunningham, John O'Neill, Jaycee O'Neill Sweet, Morgan Newton Davis and Raegan Newton. He is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren; and 1 great great-grandchild.
