He was predeceased by: his parents, Columbus Foster and Lillie Foster; his former wife Joyce Ann Foster; his wife Peggy Foster; and his siblings, Johnnie Minter and J. W. Foster.

He is survived by: his children, Carrol Rollins (Mike) of Stamps, Arkansas, Brian Foster (Phyllis) of Texarkana and Ronnie Joe Foster of Montverde, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, friends and family.
