He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleve, Sr. Gillard and Pearl Willis Gillard; his wife Gloria Smith; and his siblings, Tommy Gillard, Cleve Gillard, Jr., Otis Gillard and Louise Flenory.
He is survived by: his uncles, Ellis and Lorinzer Willis; his children, Eldrick Gillard of Huntsville, AL, Cristy R. Vaughn of Huntsville, AL and Jacquetta Gillard of Los Angeles, CA; his siblings, Charles R. Gillard of Huntsville, AL, Ophelia Smith (Jimmy) of Stamps, AR and Verdell Johnson (Howard) of Ft. Worth, Texas; his stepdaughters, Kisha Smith and Regina Smith of Lewisville, AR; his close friends, Fred, Kathy of Stamps, AR and Osie Pree of Lewisville, AR; his daughter Amanda Roseborough of Huntsville, AL.; and his close friend Marilyn Ann Green. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
