She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Erwin Tissue and Lura Pearl Stevens Tissue; her brother Carl Terrell Tissue; the father of her children Billy Powell; her son Randy Powell; and her husband Dennis Johnson.
She is survived by: her children, David Powell (Angie) of Hooks, TX, William "Bill" Powell (Stephanie) of Stamps, Lynn Bolt (David) of Lewisville and Charles Powell (Shayne) of Texarkana, TX; her stepdaughters, LeeAnn Johnson of Mena, AR and Patricia Van Baalbergeren of California; her grandchildren, Ben Bolt, Andie Bolt, Cameron Powell, Colt Powell, Watson Powell, Kristi Powell, Dustin Powell, Kimberly Israel, Zach Powell and Miranda Powell; and her great grandchildren, Oaklynn Powell and Ember Powell.
