He is survived by: his daughter-in-law Rosa Palacios Smith-Jean (Tanguy) of Rennes; and his brothers, Steve, Ken Smith (Mary) of Fayetteville and Terry Smith (Diane) of New Strawn, KS..
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 6th 2025 from 4:30 PM to 7:00 PM at the Caruth-Hale Life Celebration Center (2529 Airport Rd, Hot Springs National Park, AR 71913). A graveside service was held on Monday, April 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Oak Grove Cemetery.
