He was predeceased by: his parents, Silas Joseph and Flora Smith (Vinzant); and his siblings, Jack, Jim, John Smith and Rhoda McArthur.
He is survived by: his wife Isabel Slaven; his daughters, Kathy Seratt (Jim) of Wagoner, OK, Louise Belue (Greg) of Springdale, AR, Karen Koogler (Jeff) of Springdale, AR and Nancy Franz of West Plains, MO.; and his siblings, Henry Smith of Moscow, KS and Flora May Phillips of Joplin, MO.. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Berry Street Baptist Church (206 Berry St, Springdale, AR 72764). A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
