He was predeceased by: his parents, Duane Edwards and Maxine Smith (Douglas); his wife Verna B. Edwards; his daughter Linda Edwards; his grandson Brian Edwards; and his brother Lee Edwards.
He is survived by: his children, Jerry Edwards (Claudette) of Springdale, Arkansas and Judy Allen (Robert) of Fayetteville, Arkansas; his grandchildren, Gary Edwards (Valerie) of Little Rock, Michael Allen (Erin) of Fayetteville, Jared Allen (Danielle) of Fayetteville and Katherine Fickey (Stephen) of Clermont, Florida; and his niece Elaine Cospey (Vernon) of Nebraska. He is also survived by 12 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Cross Church (1709 Johnson Rd, Springdale, AR 72762). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, November 4th 2024 at the Douglas Cemetery Douglas Cemetery.
