He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred and Dora; and his brother Louis. He is survived by: his wife Judy; his siblings, Helen Hackethal, Marjorie Huston and F. Robert McGregor; his children, Richard Leyba (Kathyrn) and Danielle Williams (Peter); his stepchildren, Alexander Bevil and Rebecca Gibbons; his grandchildren, Michael Leyba (Cheyenne) and Michelle; his stepgrandchildren, Bekah Kelly (John Scott) and Anthony Gibbons (Jackie); his brothers-in-law, George Myers (Deborah) and Mike Norton; and his great grandchildren, Savina and Sophia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the First Presbyterian Church (100 S Gutensohn Rd, Springdale, AR 72762). A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Fayetteville National Cemetery (1000 S Lt Col Leroy Pond Ave, Fayetteville, AR 72701).
