He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Proffitt and Freida Henson Proffitt; and his brother John Proffitt. He is survived by: his wife Frances Proffitt; his brothers, Gerald Profitt (Freida) of Ohio and Ken Proffitt (Shirley) of Springdale, AR; and his sister-in-law Darilyn Proffitt of California.
