We are sad to announce that on October 3, 2024, at the age of 78, Bill y Eugene Akers of Springdale, Arkansas, born in Olustee, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Eugene and Lois Corinne Akers; his grandparents, John and Lettie Akers; and his brother Dave "Butch" Akers.
He is survived by: his wife Donna Akers; his children, Billy Akers Jr., Shelly Ford (Eddie Brenner) and Kelsey Jennings (Brandon); his brother Doug Akers (Alma); his grandchildren, Ashley Gabbard (Zach), Caylee Kitterman (Garrett) and Cohen Jennings; and his great grandchildren, Lane Brandenburg and Blaize Eklund.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 7th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Westfield Chapel Funeral Home (3236 W Huntsville Ave, Springdale, AR 72762). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 8th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
