It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Charles Wallis of Smithville, Arkansas, who passed away on March 6, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Albert Wallis, Sr. and Emma Mae Mason Wallis; his children, Mary Leon and William Albert Wallis; his grandson Will Wallis; and his brothers, Woodrow K. Wallis and W. A. Wallis.
He is survived by: his wife Abigail Helm Wallis; and his sons, Timothy "Toby" Wallis (Kara) of Wylie, Micah "Josh" Wallis (Kari) of Ithaca and Charles Vernon Wallis, Jr. (Kathy) of Rockford, Illinois. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.
