Leona Belle Thompson Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leona Belle Thompson (Smackover, Arkansas), who passed away on January 18, 2020, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Bender, Jr. and Florence Viola Lathrop; her husband Clarence Carlton Thompson; her siblings, Rheta Long, Wilda Yorke, Viola Bender, Earl and Dean Bender; and her daughter-in-law Gloria Wilkins Thompson.

She is survived by: her children, Tommy G. Thompson (Judy) of Hot Springs, Michael Amos Thompson of Smackover and Ruth Marie Pumphrey (Roy) of Smackover; and her grandchildren, Tina Buss, Cynthia Martineau, Melanie Price, Candis Langley, Joseph, Luke and Wesley Burch. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
