She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph B. Holmes; her parents, Joseph Ward Garner and Helen Avis Garner; and her cousin Robert "Bob" Garner Jr. of Hot Springs. She is survived by: her brother Robert Garner (Pearl Garner) of El Dorado; her niece Linda Carol Garner Dixon of El Dorado; and her cousin Patricia Nowlin Appleton of Baton Rouge, Louisiana..
